Bench Worker / Fabricator

• Location: Sittingbourne
• Job Type: Full-time, permanent - (Monday to Thursday 2:15 to 12:30 am)
• Salary: £16 p/h DOE, including occasional overtime at 1.5x normal pay

As an Experienced Bench Worker / Fabricator in their Production team, you will play a crucial role in our ambitious journey towards becoming the UK's largest contract manufacturer by 2028. • Operate and set up various types of drilling machines and Pem Machines.
• Operate and load robot and cobot welders.
• Learn to operate CNC Laser cutting, Punchpress, and Brakepress.
• Interpret work orders and work instructions.
• Carry out grinding and finishing activities.
• Perform quality drilling and grinding activities.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and carry out fabrication tasks as required.
• Conduct quality checks on your own work and promptly raise any issues when required.

• Previous experience working in a metal fabrication environment.
• Proficiency in quality workmanship.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
