LEAD INFORMATION
Job Title – Bendi / Flexi / Pivot Steer Operator Nights
Site location – Trafford Park, Manchester
Responsible to – Shift Manager
Purpose of the role – To support the warehouse, Stock Rotation and Replenishment of customer goods with the safe operation of Bendi / Flexi trucks / Pivot Steer and use of hand scanners.
Client brief – Our client is a world-renowned Warehousing organisation supporting blue chip companies with warehousing and distribution functions.
KEY INFORMATION
Reason for vacancy – Increased Demand
Contract – Temporary to Permanent
Hourly Rate – £15.24ph
Shifts – Monday to Friday, 10pm-6am
Overtime – Regular optional overtime available also @ 1.5x basic rate = £22.86ph
Holidays – Accrual
Facilities – Long standing operation very well kept offering excellent facilities including free on-site parking, canteen areas (inclusive of all kitchen facilities and vending machines)
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role - Our client is looking for Bendi / Flexi / Pivot Steer Operator to support their existing team in their Ambient (room temperature) Warehousing Operation in Trafford Park. As a Bendi / Flexi / Pivot Steer Operator, the requirements are varied but not limited to –
* Accurately and safely operating a Bendi / Flexi / Pivot Steer Truck within site health and safety requirements at all times.
* Rotating stock, storing and collecting products from pallets with use of Bendi Truck & handheld scanners.
* Working within a team to complete daily warehouse targets.
* Delivering a high standard of productivity at all times to ensure smooth operation within the warehouse.
* Handling stock respectfully, with a high attention to detail.
* All other generalist warehousing duties.
Key Skills Required -
* Previous experience operating Bendi / Flexi trucks / Pivot Steer is essential.
* Bendi / Flexi / Pivot Steer license holder is highly desirable.
* Previous experience with handscanners is essential.
* Must be reliable and committed.
* Must be able to communicate in English to a high standard (verbal and written).
* Flexible approach to duties and tasks
