The Job A Benefits Risk & Governance Advisor will be hired for a Fixed Term Contract for 18 months. Hybrid working.
General Responsibilities:
Development and ongoing maintenance of a controls monitoring programme and also supports risk identification, management & mitigation
Support the Benefits area with early identification and escalation of risks to ensure these are captured and dealt with in accordance with corporate risk policies
Act as liaison with Risk when events occur
Work closely with the Director of Benefits Governance & Standards ensuring accurate and timely deliver of the annual Master Trust supervisory return
Provide ongoing assurance that the business is meeting its Master Trust responsibilities
Development and delivery and publication of the annual internal controls AAF across Benefits and wider areas of the business is also a key part of this role

You will have a proven track record of supporting first line areas with effective risk management and control mechanisms
Have expertise in producing high-quality written reports and have the confidence to support its delivery
Financial services experience would be preferred
Pensions experience would be advantageous
Have great communication skills and be an effective communicator to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
