Bereavement Services Casual Operative

Contract Type: Casual 

Working Hours: Various hours on an ad-hoc basis covering vacancies, sickness and busy periods, school hours, evenings and weekend availability. Please confirm your availability on your application. (2 x post available) 

Worker Type: Onsite Worker 

Salary:  £17.16 per hour

Location: Northern Cemetery, Hempshill Lane, Bulwell, NG6 8PF

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  Ability to organise and prioritise workload, work effectively as part of a team and use initiative when undertaking a varied range of duties.

  Previous experience in grounds maintenance, horticulture, landscaping, cemetery or bereavement services is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

  Good practical skills, attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures and instructions, with an understanding of safe working practices.

  Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, funeral directors, contractors and members of the public.
