The event will take place in individual time slots between 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM, allowing us to create a more personal experience for each candidate.

About the role

Are you a recent STEM graduate with a passion for innovation? Ayming UK is looking for an R&D Tax Associate Consultant to join its thriving team in the heart of London.

According to HMRC, Research and Development (R&D) occurs when a project aims to advance overall knowledge or capability in its field. Working in R&D Tax, you will consult with clients leading cutting-edge industry developments, actively driving and pushing the boundaries of innovation globally.

With seven years of consistent year-on-year growth, Ayming is the perfect place to upskill and specialise in R&D Tax. Defying the industry trend of stagnant salaries and shrinking opportunities, Ayming continues to grow, and we're looking for eager and ambitious talent to take us to the next level.

As the UK's leading R&D Tax consultancy, we regularly win engagements against Big-4 incumbents and give you genuine responsibility from Day One. You'll play an active role in major engagements, rather than simply number crunching, while learning to provide specialist advice to our clients on the technical, tax and financial aspects of R&D tax reliefs.

Responsibilities

• Client Facing: Build client relationships throughout the sales and production process, including training on correspondence processes for claim-related information.
• Subject Matter Expert: Develop a technical understanding of your specialism and approach it from a consulting perspective.
• Report and Claim Management: Support the team in creating structured claim reports, R&D project descriptions and claim adjustments.

Who are we looking for?

We are particularly interested in meeting recent STEM graduates who are curious about innovation and interested in developing a career in consulting and R&D Tax.

• STEM-related Bachelor's, MSc or PhD degree
• A genuine interest in innovation, technology and R&D
• No previous R&D Tax experience is required - we are looking for people with the right mindset and potential to learn
