BI Analyst

Hybrid 2 days per week.

An established organisation is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join its Data, Analytics and Insight team. This role focuses on designing and delivering clear, effective, and user-friendly dashboards that support data-driven decision-making across the business.

• Design and develop engaging Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Use SQL to extract, transform, and prepare datasets for reporting.
• Apply data visualisation best practises to present complex information clearly.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing dashboards to ensure accuracy, reliability, and relevance.
• Support users in adopting self-service BI and identify opportunities to improve reporting processes.

• Proven experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards in a commercial environment.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and preparing data.
• Strong understanding of dashboard UX/UI design to ensure insights are accessible and easy to interpret.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure, PowerApps or PowerAutomate.
• Understanding of data models and data warehouse principles.
