Business Intelligence Analyst / Performance Analyst – Wetherby (Hybrid 50/50 split)
Travel: 2-3 times a month - UK wide
Level: Open to both junior and experienced candidates
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience

Our client is looking to hire a Business Intelligence Analyst or Performance Analyst, depending on your level of experience. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team focused on using data to drive performance, profitability and service improvements across a national branch network.

The Role

You’ll support key decision-makers by analysing sales, margin, pricing and operational KPIs. From producing clear and engaging dashboards to identifying underperformance and spotting commercial opportunities, your work will directly influence business outcomes. For less experienced candidates, this role offers structured development, with the potential to grow into a senior analyst or business partner role within 1–2 years.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on your experience, your responsibilities could include:

• Analysing sales, margin and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities
• Producing and maintaining dashboards and performance reports
• Supporting regional and branch managers with data insights that inform decision-making
• Helping with forecasting, benchmarking and budgeting processes
• Assisting with project work focused on data quality and reporting improvements
• Supporting ad-hoc commercial and customer analysis
• Presenting findings in a clear, actionable way to stakeholders at all levels

What We’re Looking For

We’re open to candidates with a range of experience – whether you're just starting out or already delivering strategic insights in a commercial setting. Key skills and attributes include:

• Strong numeracy and analytical mindset
• Master in Excel
• Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain data insights to non-technical audiences
• Commercial awareness and an eagerness to drive performance
• Organised, detail-oriented and self-motivated
• Experience in a distribution, branch-based, or operational environment (ideal but not essential)
