Bid & BD Manager

A hugely dynamic and progressive law firm is seeking a driven and experienced Bid & Business Development Manager.  Joining an established and very strong marketing/BD team, you will manage a Senior Executive and your key responsibilities will include: 
  

• Identifying potential opportunities for lawyers and their relevant practice areas.
• Leading on bids and tenders from initial opportunity through to submission and reporting.
• Developing and writing persuasive, tailored proposals that address client needs and highlight the firm's strengths.
• Providing coaching to improve the performance of pitch teams and individual lawyers.
• Ensuring business development content is captured and stored for future use, and identify content gaps to overcome them.
• Keeping up to date with market best practice and developments, and share knowledge with the wider Marketing and Business Development team.

  
Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree-level education
• Experience within the legal industry or professional services at a senior level
• Excellent writing skills, communication and project management skills, combined with personal gravitas
