Are you a Bid Manager or Business Development professional from an engineering or technical background looking to lead complex tenders and drive business growth?

Join a specialist engineering business offering a varied role with the opportunity to influence commercial strategy and develop key client relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing process engineering company specialising in technical solutions for industrial markets.

You'll lead complex bids, identify new business opportunities and work closely with engineering, commercial and senior leadership teams to support continued growth across sectors including water, wastewater, energy and data centres.

This role would suit a Bid Manager, Bid & Business Development Executive or Business Development Manager from an engineering, construction, utilities or technical B2B background looking to combine bid leadership, client engagement and strategic growth.

The Role:

Lead complex bids and tenders from opportunity identification through to submission and post-bid review
Develop bid strategies, win themes and competitive value propositions
Coordinate technical, engineering, commercial and operational teams
Manage bid compliance, governance, risk assessments and deadlines
Build client relationships and identify new business opportunities
Improve bid management processes, methodologies and standards

The Person:

Experience in bid management, tender management and business development
Background in engineering, construction, utilities, energy or another technical B2B industry desirable
