Hyreus is currently recruiting an experienced Bid Coordinator for an exciting opportunity based in Swindon, supporting a leading Tier One civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure projects in London.
The successful candidate will provide coordination and administrative support throughout the bid and tender process, working closely with bid managers, commercial teams, technical specialists and senior stakeholders. Responsibilities

Coordinate the end-to-end bid and tender process, ensuring submissions are delivered accurately and on time.

Maintain bid programmes, action trackers, tender documentation and submission schedules.
*
Coordinate input from commercial, technical, operational and other internal teams.
*
Assist with the preparation, formatting and review of tender submissions and supporting documentation.
*
Manage bid portals, tender correspondence and document control requirements.
*
Organise bid meetings, workshops and reviews, ensuring actions are recorded and followed up.
*
Monitor tender deadlines, deliverables and approval processes.
*
Ensure bid documentation is consistent, professional and compliant with client requirements.
*
Support the Bid Manager with presentations, reports, PQQs, expressions of interest and tender responses.
*
Maintain accurate records of previous submissions, company information and supporting materials.
*
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties where required to obtain information for submissions.
*
Contribute to continuous improvement of bid processes, templates and procedures.
The Ideal Candidate
*
Previous experience in a Bid Coordinator, Bid Administrator, Tender Coordinator or similar role, ideally within construction, civil engineering or infrastructure.
*
Experience supporting bids or tenders for major projects is highly desirable.
*
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
*
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, professional documentation.
*
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*
Confident coordinating multiple stakeholders and working across commercial, technical and operational teams.
*
Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
*
Experience with bid portals and document management systems is advantageous.
