Hyreus is currently recruiting an experienced Bid Coordinator for an exciting opportunity based in Paddington, London, supporting a leading Tier One civil engineering contractor delivering a major infrastructure project in London.
The successful candidate will provide coordination and administrative support throughout the bid and tender process, working closely with bid managers, commercial teams, technical specialists and senior stakeholders. Responsibilities

Coordinate the end-to-end bid and tender process, ensuring submissions are accurate, compliant and delivered on time.
*
Maintain bid programmes, action trackers, tender documentation and submission schedules.
*
Coordinate information and contributions from commercial, technical, operational and wider project teams.
*
Assist with the preparation, formatting and quality checking of tender submissions and supporting documentation.
*
Manage bid portals, tender correspondence and document control requirements.
*
Organise bid meetings, workshops and reviews, recording actions and ensuring they are followed through.
*
Monitor tender deadlines, deliverables and internal approval processes.
*
Support the Bid Manager with PQQs, expressions of interest, presentations and tender responses.
*
Maintain accurate records of previous submissions, company information and supporting materials.
*
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties to obtain information required for submissions.
*
Contribute to improving bid processes, templates and document management systems.
The Ideal Candidate
*
Previous experience in a Bid Coordinator, Bid Administrator, Tender Coordinator or similar role, ideally within construction, civil engineering or infrastructure.
*
Experience supporting bids and tenders for major projects is highly desirable.
*
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
*
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, professional documentation.
*
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*
Confident coordinating multiple stakeholders across commercial, technical and operational teams.
*
Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
*
Experience with bid portals and document management systems is advantageous.
