Job Description - Bid manager

This role will be hybrid working with the requirement to be based in either our Manchester or Birmingham (based on your location) office a minimum of 3 days a week.

The Role (for the full job description please email [email protected]): As Bid Manager you will oversee a team of work winning specialists, playing a critical role in managing the end-to-end bid process.

You will have strong project management and communication skills, with an attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with various client and internal teams to successfully deliver bids on time, within budget and to the highest quality.

You will be comfortable developing and leading workshops (both in person and virtually), and must have experience of managing large, complex bids (preferably within the built environment).

Experience and Qualifications: Proven experience in bid management roles - essential (please do not apply if you do not have bid management experience) Experience is preferably in public procurement and the built environment) across a range of projects, including large scale schemes Bachelors degree (or equivalent work based training) in Business, Project Management or a related field Strong project management skills, including the use of project management software (MS Teams, Word, Excel and Monday.com) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Analytical and problem solving abilities Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure (going the extra mile when needed) Client focused with strong inter-personal skills Package: Salary - competitive (for further details please email [email protected]) Annual bonus and recognition scheme Contributory pension scheme Salary sacrifice scheme 22 x days annual leave, plus bank holidays and 2 x discretionary wellbeing days per annum (pro-rated) Training programmes and continuous learning support Hiring Process Applications received through Linked In Applications reviewed 1st stage successful candidates to have introductory teams call with company directors 2nd stage successful candidates to have in person interview with company directors in Birmingham or Manchester Cloud Nine is an equal opportunity employer and encourages candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply If you have any questions about the role please contact [email protected]
