BID Writer Job Overview
  • Bid Management: Lead the bid process from opportunity identification to submission, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Write, edit, and format compelling proposals, case studies, employee CVs, and supplementary materials.
  • Work closely with sales, estimating, and operational teams to develop competitive and compliant bids.
  • Maintain and expand a centralised library of templates, bid evidence, and other essential documents.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and client assessments to tailor proposals effectively.
  • Develop winning bid strategies in collaboration with business development and operational teams.
  • Monitor bid performance, conduct post-bid analysis, and refine strategies to enhance future success
  • Ensure all bids align with client requirements, industry regulations, and company standards.
BID Writer Job Requirements
  • Proven experience in bid writing and proposal development.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with bid and tender portals, including submission processes.
  • Excellent project management skills and understanding of the bid lifecycle.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Customer-focused approach with a desire to win and exceed expectations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple deadline
  • Passion for writing winning proposals and collaborating with a talented tea
BID Writer Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
