?? Bid Writer Opportunity | Environmental & Waste Sector | Colnbrook (Hybrid/Flexible Working)

I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation in the environmental services industry, seeking a skilled and motivated Bid Writer to join their commercial team.

?? Location: Colnbrook
?? Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with flexibility required around deadlines)

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to sustainable waste management solutions across a variety of sectors. You'll play a key role in producing high-quality bid submissions, from initial research through to delivery, working with stakeholders across the business.

The role combines technical writing, innovation, and project coordination - ideal for someone with a passion for environmental improvement and service excellence.

• Write and coordinate compelling bid responses for public and private sector clients

• Attend site visits with the Commercial team to understand contract requirements

• Support in developing tailored, innovative waste management solutions

• Proofread and refine submissions for clarity, accuracy, and compliance

• Research emerging technologies and industry developments to enhance bids

• Assist with the preparation of PQQs and ITTs, working to tight deadlines

• Experience in bid writing

• Excellent written English with strong proofreading and editorial skills

• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail

• A keen interest in sustainability and environmental services

• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Degree-educated (preferred)

• Full UK driving licence required
