We're working with a highly respected, long-established construction business that has built an outstanding reputation for delivering major projects across multiple sectors including education, healthcare, commerical, leisure and mixed-use developments. With a strong pipeline of work, an impressive client base and an enviable success rate, they're now looking to appoint a Bid Writers to join their growing Preconstruction team based in Coventry.

The Role
Working closely with the Preconstruction Manager and wider operational teams, you'll take ownership of producing engaging, high-quality bid submissions from initial enquiry through to final submission.
You'll be responsible for:
* Producing high-quality PQQs, SQs, ITTs and tender submissions
* Writing compelling, tailored responses that clearly demonstrate the company's strengths and added value
* Managing tender programmes and ensuring submission deadlines are met
* Creating bid-specific case studies, CVs and supporting documentation
* Designing visually engaging proposal documents using Adobe Creative Suite
* Coordinating information from technical and operational teams across the business
* Managing online tender portals and electronic submissions
* Continuously improving bid content by maintaining a library of responses, project information and supporting materials
You'll also work closely with the marketing team to support branding, presentation materials, social media content and wider business development initiatives.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys creating winning submissions and has excellent written communication skills.
Ideally you'll have:
* Previous experience writing successful bids within construction or the built environment
* Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
* Experience producing PQQs, SQs and tender submissions
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign)
* A collaborative approach and confidence working with stakeholders across the business
