As the Billing Analyst your responsibilities will include...

• Timely and Accurate Invoicing: Ensure that customer invoices (both recurring and one-off) are raised promptly and with precision.
• Customer Billing Records: Create, update, and maintain accurate records for recurring customer billing.
• Efficient Invoicing: Process all received data into invoices efficiently, adhering to daily, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc deadlines. Ensure alignment with contractual terms and customer-specific requirements.
• Invoice Distribution: Distribute generated invoices via post, email, or customer portals.
• Data Analysis and Resolution: Analyse and manipulate billing/invoice data from multiple systems. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries promptly, keeping all parties informed.
• Process Adherence and Collaboration: Contribute to and participate in updating billing processes. Engage in team and departmental meetings to enhance overall efficiency.

Skills required...

• Billing Experience: Previous involvement in creating customer invoices, either within a dedicated billing role or as part of the broader finance function.
• Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a busy team.
• Effective Organisation: Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Communication Skills: Proficient in written and spoken communication to engage with various stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail and Analytical Thinking: Keen eye for detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excel Proficiency: Comfortable with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• VAT Knowledge: Familiarity with VAT rules related to sales invoicing is highly advantageous.
• Efficiency: Ability to handle a high volume of requests across different tasks and clients effectively.
