Billing Specialist - Leading US Law Firm | London

A high-performing international law firm is seeking a confident and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join its London finance team. Supporting billing and collections activity across UK and international offices, this is a pivotal role with strong exposure to partners, clients and core finance systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing, reviewing and finalising bills in line with client guidelines, VAT rules and SAR requirements
• Managing time and disbursement records, write-offs, adjustments and client queries
• Collaborating closely with attorneys, legal teams and clients to ensure billing accuracy and timely approval
• Preparing reports for attorney review, implementing billing protocols and supporting e-billing submissions
• Supporting AR activity by monitoring credit levels and chasing outstanding invoices
• Liaising with clients, Partners and Associates to ensure timely collections and statement delivery

Candidate profile:

• Minimum 2 years' revenue experience in a law firm
• Solid understanding of billing processes and professional standards
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Aderant exposure preferred
• Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail and multitasking skills
