Job Description - Billing Coordinator

Role: Billing Coordinator
Location: Verwood, Dorset

Salary / Rate of pay: up to £30,000

Platinum Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-established IT and Telecoms solutions provider that has been established for 28 years in the South of England, focused on delivering high quality solutions with exceptional service, expertise and integrity. They are looking for a full-time office-based Billing & Provisioning Coordinator to work in a team of three to manage the ordering and billing of the services we supply, which include broadband, cloud IT services, telecoms, mobiles, and support and managed solutions. This role is vital in supporting operational efficiency and maintaining the quality and delivery performance we are known for.

What's involved?

  • Placing new orders with suppliers for Telecoms and IT services and taking over any existing services for customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams, customers and suppliers to ensure timely service delivery
  • Process accurate customer billing, including recurring and one-off charges
  • Accurate input of order details and updates to projects/tickets
  • Maintain and update billing systems and manage monthly bill runs
  • Monitor and action contract renewals and service cancellations
  • Dealing with any queries relevant to your role including billing discrepancies
  • Maintain a high level of process quality and consistency
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Provisioning Team

Key Requirements

  • Exceptional organisation and planning skills to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and CRM working
  • A team player who is an effective and positive communicator
  • A good fit with company ethos
  • Experience in a similar role preferred but training can be given
