Billing Coordinator

Totum is working with a leading City law firm to recruit a Billing Coordinator. This is a hybrid role (2 days in the office, 3 from home), offering the chance to work closely with Partners and fee earners across multiple practice areas.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing for and attending monthly WIP meetings
• Raising Bills and finalising proformas in the billing system
• Processing billing tasks, including credit notes and write-offs
• Managing the billing inbox and responding to queries promptly
• Handling WIP and disbursement transfers
• Maintaining the billing meeting schedule
• Supporting the annual rate review process and implementing rate changes
• Managing client/matter closures and re-openings

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous legal billing experience
• Experience using the Practice Management System
• Confidence working with Partners and fee earners
