Job Description - Billing Specialist

We are seeking an organized, reliable, detail and service-oriented Billing Specialist to join our clients growing team in Feltham. In this position, you will monitor and respond in a timely manner to invoice queries as well as manage invoice processing as well as email requests from our case based ticketing service – Microsoft Dynamics. Previous accounting experience is required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Input of carrier invoices (DPD, EVRi, DHL, UPS, FedEx
Manipulation of Excel / CSVs using notepad
Answering and dealing with Customer Disputes
Raising disputes to carriers
Raising post clearance amendments
Raising credit notes to customers
Review profit / loss
Review weekly checks to ensure all Billing is accurate and correct
Working on MSD (Microsoft Dynamics) case system

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

Be Customer focused with dedication in your service delivery to meet Customer needs.
Ability to maintain positive mind-set when working under pressure, re-prioritising workload where necessary.
Be reliable with the ability to multitask and have strong problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and numeracy.
Excellent IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly as required.
Knowledge of the freight transport industry.
Experience within Accountancy and billing.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE LEVELS

Excel qualification to intermediate level or the equivalent of
Prior experience in an accountancy environment
Knowledge of the freight transport industry.
Cargo Operative qualification –(Not Essential)

Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00
