Billing Specialist

We are currently working with our Northampton based client who are looking to recruit a Billing Specialist.

The Role: to manage and bill all contracts in accordance with agreements to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency, while maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

In this busy role duties will include:

• Ensure the billing process runs smoothly and meets both company standards and what customers expect.
• Dealing with customer enquiries and complaints quickly and helpfully escalating anything urgent when needed.
• Providing focused billing support to specific accounts.
• Keeping contracts up to date whenever is required.
• Encouraging the use of standard billing processes and cutting down on one-off or custom setups.
• Working with other departments to make sure invoices are accurate and sent out on time.
• Looking for ways to improve how we work and make things more efficient.
• Getting involved in projects when your input or support is needed.
• Staying customer-focused environment.

The ideal person will be customer focused and be organised and responsive, you will thrive in a busy, fast-paced working environment. You will have excellent communication skills and be PC literate, with a good sense of humour and be adaptability within the workplace.

• Salary: up to £28,500 (depending on experience)
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
• Hybrid working - after initial training period
• 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
