We are currently recruiting for an experienced BIM Lead to join a major data centre project in Blyth, Northumberland.

The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for BIM delivery across the project, managing a team of BIM Coordinators and Technicians while working closely with the site team, subcontractors, engineers, package managers and client representatives.

Key Responsibilities

* Take overall responsibility for BIM delivery across the project.

* Lead and manage a team of BIM Coordinators and BIM Technicians.

* Ensure BIM procedures and standards are consistently implemented across the project.

* Work closely with the site team, subcontractors and client to ensure BIM requirements are met.

* Liaise with package managers and site engineers to coordinate complex MEP installations.

* Manage and resolve clashes and coordination issues between disciplines.

* Coordinate architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical models.

* Produce and review drawings, specifications and schedules in accordance with the project BIM Execution Plan.

* Provide technical support and guidance to junior BIM team members and the wider site team.

* Monitor BIM deliverables and ensure they are produced in line with project requirements.

* Support project coordination meetings and design reviews.

* Assist with the development and implementation of BIM processes and technologies.

* Contribute to BIM research, development and continuous improvement initiatives.

* Ensure accurate and up-to-date BIM information is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

* 8+ years' experience working across large-scale construction projects.

* Strong previous experience in a BIM Team Lead / BIM Manager / Senior BIM Coordinator position.

* Excellent Revit experience with an MEP bias.

* Strong understanding of MEP BIM coordination.

* Experience managing BIM teams.

* Strong Navisworks experience.

* AutoCAD experience preferred.

* Experience with clash detection and resolution.

* Experience working on major construction, infrastructure or data centre projects.

* Relevant Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, BIM or a related discipline.

* Strong understanding of BIM processes, standards and project delivery.

* Excellent organisational, communication and time-management skills.

* Ability to work effectively with subcontractors, engineers, designers and clients.

* Willingness to work on a rotational basis in Blyth
