BIM Manager

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a BIM / Technical Manager to join a major data centre civils project in Cambois, with a package value of approximately £25m.

The initial project is expected to run for 60 weeks, with the opportunity to move onto further packages across the same campus, potentially offering over five years of continued work.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a significant data centre development, with a substantial initial civils package and the potential for long-term work across the wider campus.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate design information between temporary works designers, reinforcement detailers, engineers and other project stakeholders.

* Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Principal Contractor’s design and BIM teams.

* Manage the Request for Information (RFI) process and ensure technical queries are resolved efficiently.

* Work closely with the Document Controller to manage and issue project documentation.

* Issue updated BIM models weekly to support coordination with other trades.

* Maintain and update as-built information within the BIM model.

* Develop and implement the BIM Execution Plan alongside the site team.

* Incorporate temporary works designs into the Revit/BIM model and manage ongoing updates.

* Attend site coordination meetings and support the resolution of design and technical issues.

Requirements

* Previous experience in a BIM or Technical Management role within civil engineering or construction.

* Experience coordinating design information on complex construction projects.

* Strong knowledge of BIM processes, model coordination and Revit.

* Experience managing RFIs, technical documentation and as-built information.

* Ability to coordinate with designers, site teams and main contractor design departments.

* Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
