JOB DESCRIPTION

• Science Teacher - Biology Specialist

• Based in the Borough of Newham (E6)

• Teaching Biology across KS3-KS5, including A-Level

• Full-time, permanent position

• September 2025 start

• Inner London MPS / UPS + potential TLRs depending on experience

• Contribute to a high-performing, well-resourced Science department

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must hold UK QTS (or be on track to achieve this by July 2025)

• Biology specialism with strong subject knowledge at A-Level

• Strong academic background (Degree, A Levels, etc.)

• Passion for subject-led teaching and curriculum development

• High expectations of self and students

• A reflective and enthusiastic classroom practitioner
