Blast Freezer Warehouse Operative

Staffline is recruiting Blast Freezer Warehouse Operatives in Luton (LU4).

The rate of pay is:
- AM £12.80 per hour
- PM £12.80 per hour
- Nights £13.40 per hour

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, any 5 out of 7, and the hours of work are:
- 7am to 4pm
- 1pm to 10pm
- 10pm to 7am

Your Time at Work

As a Freezer Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for:

- Safely handle frozen food products within blast freezing and cold storage environment.
- Receive, store and relocate stock accurately within the warehouse.
- Pick, pack and prepare orders to meet operational targets and customer requirements.
- Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Ensure stock is rotated and stored correctly in accordance with food safety standards.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and house keeping throughout the warehouse.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and food hygiene regulations.
- Report damaged goods, equipment faults, or any safety concerns to management promptly.
- Support general warehouse duties as required to meet business needs.

What we're looking for:

- Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties.
- Ability to work full shifts in temperature of up to -22 degrees.
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to support operational requirements when needed.
- Previous warehouse, cold store or freezer environment experience is an advantage.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and food quality.
