Block Management Team Leader

Block Management Team Leader - £60k – Bromley

Nexus Recruitment have been instructed by a rapidly growing Property Management firm on an exciting role within the business. Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Property manager/Team Leader to step into a leadership role, managing a team of 8-10 property management professionals.

Core responsibilities:

• Day to day responsibility of a very small portfolio yourself, whilst managing a team of APMs and PMs who have their own portfolios
• Support the team with qualification training when required
• Deal/support with escalated issues with contractors, leaseholders or the portfolio in general
• Monitor the performance of section 20 works, service charge budget management and customer service levels
• Work closely with the Director to assess KPIs, team strategy and improvements to be made within the department

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Block Management professional with at least 5/6 years’ experience in the industry, either overseeing their own portfolio or a team of staff. The following experience/skillset is preferred:

• 5 years’ experience in Block Management is essential
• TPI qualifications are very much preferred (ideally ATPI minimum)
• Previous experience managing other members of staff is a plus, even if it’s just one other
• A proven track record managing complex portfolios to a high standard
• Full UK driving license
• A friendly and progressive demeanour
