Job Title: Block Manager

Location: Prime Central London (close to a major underground station)

Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 basic (£40,000 – £44,000 OTE)

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm (8:30am–5:30pm on Wednesdays for team meeting)

Hybrid Working: 1 day per week from home once settled (excluding Wednesdays)

Driving Licence: Not required

Overview

An established and well-regarded residential property management company is seeking a Block Manager to join their collaborative Block Management team in Central London. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with existing block management experience to take ownership of their own residential portfolio while working within a supportive and well-structured team environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a residential block management portfolio, working alongside a wider team of approximately 20 property professionals. The role involves managing relationships with leaseholders, contractors and managing agents, while ensuring buildings are maintained to a high standard and all compliance requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

  Managing a residential block management portfolio of leasehold properties

  Acting as the main point of contact for leaseholders, freeholders and contractors

  Overseeing maintenance works and coordinating contractors

  Managing service charge budgets and reviewing invoices

  Attending site visits and occasional resident or AGM meetings

  Ensuring buildings remain compliant with relevant legislation and health & safety requirements
