BMS Electrician

A new and exciting BMS Electrician position has become available with my client who are well established leading Building Management and HVAC control panel provider. The ideal candidate will have proven experience installing control panels, containment, and cabling (such as CAT5/6, RS485, and low-voltage multi-core cables) for HVAC and building controls.

BMS Electrician Package:
Salary £40k - £60k dependant on experience
Company vehicle provided
Pension
25 days holiday + bank hols

BMS Electrician role:
Mostly site based with occasional work in the workshop
Wiring & Installation: Installing control panels, containment, and cabling (such as CAT5/6, RS485, and low-voltage multi-core cables) for HVAC and building controls. [1, 2, 3]
Device Termination: Connecting field devices including sensors, actuators, controllers, and meters.
Testing & Commissioning: Performing initial point-to-point electrical checks and assisting commissioning engineers to ensure system integrity.

BMS Electrician requirement:
Certifications: Valid electrical qualification (such as NVQ Level 3 or local equivalent) and safety cards (like ECS or JIB).
Reading Drawings: Ability to interpret schematic diagrams, loop drawings, and floor layouts.
Experience: Prior hands-on commercial or industrial experience working with BEMS/BMS manufacturers (e.g., Trend, Tridium, Schneider, Honeywell, Johnson Controls
