Company Overview:

My client is a leading provider of Building Management Systems (BMS), committed to delivering innovative and energy-efficient solutions for commercial and industrial buildings. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated BMS Estimator to join their dynamic Sales Team based at their head office.

Position Summary:

As a BMS Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in preparing accurate and competitive quotations for Building Management System projects. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to evaluate project specifications, estimate costs, and support the ongoing success and growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate customer enquiries and tender documentation to determine project requirements.
• Use in-house BMS Selection Software to accurately calculate labour and material costs.
• Read and interpret project specifications, schematic layouts, and technical drawings.
• Prepare and submit detailed cost estimates and quotations for customers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Promote the company brand and reputation within the industry through professional and responsive communication.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to ensure alignment with company goals.
• Attend the Atherton office daily during working hours.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Sales Estimator or Technical Sales role within the HVAC or related industries (e.g., Electrical, Fire Alarms).
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in customer-facing roles.
• Proficient in understanding and analysing technical documents and drawings.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.
• Must be able to reliably commute to the office in Atherton.

Working Hours:

Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
