We are representing a leading international engineering and construction contractor delivering major commercial, Data Centre and mission-critical projects across the UK and Europe.

They are looking for an experienced BMS Supervisor to join a major project in London, taking responsibility for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of BMS installation, testing, commissioning and close-out.

Reporting to the BMS Manager, you will supervise BMS activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and in accordance with project specifications.

You will work closely with BMS subcontractors, M&E teams, commissioning teams and wider project management to ensure systems are installed, tested and ready for successful client handover.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise day-to-day BMS installation and commissioning activities.

* Coordinate BMS works with Mechanical, Electrical and wider M&E workstreams.

* Manage and monitor BMS subcontractors on site.

* Ensure installation works are completed safely, correctly and to programme.

* Monitor progress and identify delays, clashes and technical issues.

* Carry out site inspections against drawings, specifications and quality requirements.

* Coordinate installation of BMS panels, controls, field devices and associated systems.

* Support BMS testing, commissioning, witnessing and troubleshooting.

* Coordinate with commissioning teams to ensure systems are ready for testing.

* Manage snagging and drive completion ahead of commissioning and handover.

* Attend coordination, progress and commissioning meetings.

* Assist with technical and installation issues alongside subcontractors and project teams.

* Ensure Health & Safety requirements are maintained across BMS activities.

* Support QA documentation, commissioning records, O&M information and handover.

* Provide technical guidance to BMS subcontractors and site teams.

Requirements

* Proven experience supervising BMS installation and commissioning on major projects.

* Commercial, Data Centre, Mission Critical or high-specification building experience preferred.

* Strong understanding of BMS controls, panels, field devices and system integration.

* Experience managing BMS subcontractors and installation teams.

* Good knowledge of BMS testing, commissioning, fault finding and troubleshooting.

* Strong understanding of quality, snagging and project close-out.

* Ability to coordinate effectively with Mechanical, Electrical and Commissioning teams.

* Relevant Engineering, Electrical or Building Services qualification preferred.

* Strong practical knowledge of BMS installation and commissioning.

* Excellent communication, coordination and leadership skills
