Vantage is recruiting on behalf of a leading Building Management Systems specialist, recognised for delivering innovative building controls, energy management, and smart building solutions across London and the surrounding areas. Due to continued growth, this well-established business is looking to add an experienced BMS Support Engineer to its service team.
Role Overview
As the BMS Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and optimising Building Management Systems (BMS/BEMS) across a diverse portfolio of commercial buildings. Working closely with clients, you'll provide preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs, and technical support to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
Undertaking planned preventative maintenance on BMS and building control systems. Diagnosing and resolving system faults and performance issues. Carrying out small repairs and remedial works. Conducting routine inspections to ensure optimal system reliability and performance. Responding to service call-outs and breakdowns in accordance with service agreements. Providing technical support and guidance to clients. Maintaining accurate service records and documentation. Participating in an on-call rota for emergency support when required.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience within the Building Management Systems (BMS/BEMS) industry. Familiarity with Trend and IQ Vision systems. Experience with Siemens and/or Tridium systems would be advantageous. Good understanding of mechanical plant and associated building services. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Full UK driving licence. Good IT and PC literacy skills.
