About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bodyshop Receptionist / Service Advisor to join a busy and successful Bodyshop in Darlington. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, typically 9:00am - 5:00pm, although some flexibility with start and finish times can be offered for the right candidate. As the first point of contact for customers, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the Bodyshop.

Key Responsibilities

Â· Greeting customers and handling enquiries both in person and over the phone

Â· Managing customer bookings and appointments

Â· Updating customers on vehicle repair progress

Â· Liaising with Bodyshop technicians, estimators, insurers, and external suppliers

Â· Maintaining accurate customer records and job documentation

Â· Ensuring a professional and positive customer experience at all times

Requirements

About You

Â· Previous experience as a Bodyshop Receptionist, Bodyshop Advisor, Service Advisor, or Receptionist within a dealership/automotive environment

Â· Excellent communication and customer service skills

Â· Strong IT skills and confidence using computer systems

Â· Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Â· Professional and friendly approach

Â· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
