Bookkeeper

  • Annual Salary: £32k - £35k
  • Location: Wigan
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Join an established and growing family business as a Bookkeeper. This role offers a chance to engage in a variety of accounting tasks within a supportive environment.

Duties:

  • Managing credit control and handling customer account queries.
  • Process purchase invoices against purchase orders and proof of deliveries.
  • Make timely payments to suppliers.
  • maintaining data using Accounting software and produce finance/ management reports from the system
  • Processing bank payments and receipts.
  • Bank/credit card reconciliations
  • Prepare VAT returns and manage payroll data submissions to accountants, including calculations for holiday pay.
  • Checking and send invoice batches.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a bookkeeping role.
  • Proficient in using Excel and Sage.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
