Bookkeeper

We are seeking an Accountant / Bookkeeper to become part of our expanding team. In this vital position, you will assist clients by maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records while ensuring compliance with tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage VAT submissions using a range of accounting software
• Support clients in completing their Personal Tax returns
• Prepare and finalise financial accounts for submission
• Communicate tax obligations and financial matters to clients via phone, email, or face-to-face meetings
• Ensure timely filing and submission of all tax-related documents
• Collaborate with clients to provide outstanding service and address any bookkeeping or accounting queries

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar position, particularly in finalising year-end accounts
• Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Iris, Xero, Excel, or Sage is advantageous)
• Strong communication skills with a professional and friendly telephone manner
• Ability to work autonomously
