A well-established, top 30 accountancy firm are seeking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to join their growing team in their Chester office. This firm provides a wide range of services to their varied client base, from accountancy to business advisory services. This role is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts or bookkeeping professional to join a supportive and experienced team in which they can develop their skills and continue their professional experience.

Your new role
As Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for completing monthly/quarterly bookkeeping duties. You will be responsible for accounts preparation for a range of clients as well as VAT returns and management reporting. You will work closely with an experienced team of staff and will have the opportunity to continue your professional development and you will use a range of accounting software.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience working within a practice environment. You will also need strong IT and technical skills with experience in accounts software. This candidate will need to be AAT or part ACA/ACCA qualified or have relevant experience. You will need to be able to work independently and also effectively within a team.
