Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Garforth
Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 per annum (DOE)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Garforth. This is an excellent opportunity for a someone with Practice experience who thrives in a dynamic environment and has strong experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and finalisation of VAT returns
• Payroll and CIS
• Liaising with clients regarding all aspects of the above
• Using Dext, Xero, Sage Payroll

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a bookkeeping within an Accountancy Practice
• AAT qualification (or equivalent)
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
• Strong understanding of VAT and payroll processes
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
