Job Description - Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper – Southgate

Office-Based | £35,000 | Family-Run Business | 9:00am–5:30pm (with some flexibility offered)

A well-established, highly successful, family-run business based in Southgate is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their small finance team of four. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety and working in a collaborative, supportive office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing accounts payable transactions
High-volume bank reconciliations
Preparing and sending sales invoices
Allocating incoming payments accurately
Reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Managing intercompany transactions and reconciliations

Requirements:

Proven experience in a Bookkeeping or similar finance role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Proficient with accounting software and Excel
Sound double-entry knowledge
