The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a friendly and collaborative team. Working from their Rainham office, this full-time, permanent role offers a diverse range of bookkeeping duties for a growing client base, including:

• Providing monthly and quarterly bookkeeping support
• Bank reconciliations and VAT return preparation
• Preparing CIS contractor returns
• Handling VAT and CIS registrations/de-registrations
• Meeting filing deadlines with your team

You’ll be supported with training on software as needed. While Sage 50 experience is ideal, knowledge of Sage Business Cloud, Xero, or QuickBooks is a plus but not essential.

About You
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a practice environment
• Confidence in preparing VAT and CIS returns
• Experience with Sage 50 (preferred)
• Strong communication skills for dealing with clients
• Solid Excel skills

• Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 DOE
• Hours: Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am – 4:30pm (35 hrs/week)
