Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper
Seaford, East Sussex - £28,000 – £32,000 DOE

A fantastic opportunity to join a unique, growing accountancy practice with a friendly and supportive team. This role offers varied experience across bookkeeping, accounts preparation, and tax, making it ideal for someone looking to develop their career within practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day bookkeeping: accounts payable/receivable, data entry, supplier billing
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Credit control and customer account management
• VAT returns and assisting with year-end accounts
• Supporting month-end reporting including fixed asset register and P&L
• Liaising with clients via phone and email to resolve queries
• Regular use of Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, and Client Engager

What’s Needed:

• Studying towards or completed AAT qualification
• Minimum three years’ experience in a practice setting
• Confident with Xero and Quickbooks
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and a collaborative mindset
