Bookkeeper

Reed Practice are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with a strong background in UK accountancy practice to join our clients team based in Edgeware. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Xero and a proven track record in managing multiple accounting tasks efficiently.

• Prepare VAT returns accurately and on time.
• Manage bookkeeping tasks up to a stage where annual accounts can be prepared.
• Conduct thorough reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Prepare management accounts that reflect the company's financial status.
• Develop small sole trader accounts from initial data to final reports.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Proficient in using Xero accounting software.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all levels.
• A proactive attitude towards learning and continuous professional development.
• Must live within an easy commute of the office, as this is an office-based role.

• 20 days holiday, rising to a maximum of 25 days based on tenure.
