Bookkeeper | Permanent | Derry | Londonderry

Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a car dealership in Derry / Londonderry and are actively recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join their expanding team.

This is a full time permanent opportunity, office based.

This is a stand-alone role, reporting to Directors, and will focus on sales and purchase ledger, spreadsheets, bank reconciliation, Payroll & VAT.

More specific duties will involve:

Day-to-day inputting of invoices & upkeep of car stock records

Preparation and submission of VAT returns

Weekly payroll using Moneysoft Payroll Manager or similar

Completion of financial and HMRC returns as required

Weekly creditor reports

Additional admin/finance duties as needed

The Person:

Applicants will have previous Bookkeeping experience, will be proficient in Quickbooks and Moneysoft Payroll software, will have strong MS Excel skills and the ability to work independently as the sole finance administrator.

Experience working in the motor trade industry would be an advantage, but is not essential.
