Job Description - Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper
Redditch, Worcestershire
Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 (dependent on experience)
Full time but would consider 4 days a week

We are looking for a Bookkeeper based in Redditch, the company are known for their friendly team environment and commitment to excellence. They are looking for a Bookkeeper to join our team and support the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
Bookkeeper key responsibilities:

Raising invoices
Rent processing and chasing arrears
Paying Landlords and sending out statements
Processing suppliers invoices and paying creditors
Bank payments / disbursements
Bank Account reconciliation
Service Charge budget year end accounts
Balancing charges and credits

The successful Bookkeeper will have the following skills and experience:-

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar finance role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and VAT regulations
Proficiency with bookkeeping/accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and organisational skills
AAT qualified (or working towards) preferred, but not essential
