Location: Croydon
Salary: up to £35,000 DOE
Hours: 37.5 per week 9AM till 5PM Monday to Friday

Dynamite Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a long-standing, highly respected M&E contractor with a refrigeration bias and a history of over 24 years in the industry. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to join their friendly and dedicated office team

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid experience in the construction industry and strong working knowledge of CIS and VAT to play a key role in supporting the company’s finance function

The role of a Bookkeeper

Assist with CIS submissions, reconciliations, and BACS payments
Prepare and submit VAT returns
Match internal and external invoices to purchase orders using internal systems
Record and process supplier invoices accurately
Liaise directly with clients regarding books and records
Appropriately code payables for later accountant input
Provide general administrative and clerical finance support
Undertake additional bookkeeping duties as required by management

The Ideal Bookkeeper candidate

Proven experience in a finance or bookkeeping role within the construction industry
Prepare and submit VAT returns
Match internal and external invoices to purchase orders using internal systems
Record and process supplier invoices accurately
Liaise directly with clients regarding books and records
Appropriately code payables for later accountant input
Provide general administrative and clerical finance support
Undertake additional bookkeeping duties as required by management
