Bookkeeper

On behalf of our client we are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper. This is working in a supportive and professional environment based in Portishead. Working for an accountancy firm in Portishead, they are seeking a motivated individual to join their growing team.

The Role:

You’ll be working on a variety of client bookkeeping systems, with responsibilities including:

• Preparation of VAT returns
• Bank reconciliations
• Wages calculations
• Other client-related bookkeeping tasks

There will also be opportunities to progress into accounts production at a higher level, making this a fantastic role for someone looking to develop their career in accountancy.

The Person:

For this role we are looking for someone with bookkeeping experience and knowledge of one or more of the following accounting packages (training provided where needed) Sage (In-house Line 50 & Online), Xero, QuickBooks, KashFlow

• Previous bookkeeping experience is essential
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Organised with the ability to manage multiple client deadlines
• A proactive and professional approach to client service
