Job Title – Bookkeeper

Location – Burnley

Salary – Up to £30k (DOE)

Duties & responsibilities

* Liaising directly with clients, answering their queries, and providing on-going business advice

* Bookkeeping duties using computerized accounting systems –Sage and IRIS

* Preparation and submission of accounts for review and finalization

* To process data, from client records, into accounting software

* To produce accounts, from this information to trial balance stage

* To complete VAT Returns

* To visit clients at their premises on occasion

* Preparation and finalization of management accounts for companies ranging £1million - £5million

Skills & Experience

* Experience within a similar accounting environment

* AAT qualified or similar

* Self-motivated and ability to manage own time and stick to deadlines

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to build and maintain relationships

* Excellent IT skills
