Bookkeeper / Management Accountant

We are recruiting for a company based in Leicester who have created a new role within their Bookkeeping / Management Accounts team.

Normally positions like this are reserved for people who work in firms of Accountants but the door is open to someone who would like to make the first move into Practice and experience working with a range of clients.

It will be a client facing position and you will be helping business owners understand their figures, systems and making everything balance for the Accountants to complete the end of year accounts.

A brief overview of the role includes...

• Processing Client Paperwork
• Bank Postings and Reconciliation
• Where required, Debtor and Creditor Reconciliation
• Preparing and submitting VAT Returns
• Processing accounting adjustments such as accruals and prepayments
• Posting journals for payroll, depreciation etc
• Preparing management accounts and information for clients
• Be able to analyse financial information and discuss with clients.

What they need is someone with 2 or more years experience of working within Accounts.

So, if you have experience of working in a firm of Accountants, that would be great but equally this could be a great role for someone to make the first move into Practice to build their experience.
