Bookkeeping Manager

We have an incredible opportunity for a Bookkeeping Manager to join a well-established firm of Accountants based in Harrogate.

This firm offer a full range of accountancy, tax, and audit services for their wide range of clients.

This role will give you the opportunity to build the firms own in-house bookkeeping offering, giving you the chance to shape the team from the ground up.

As a Bookkeeping Manager, you will be responsible for:

• General bookkeeping duties
• Preparation of Management Accounts
• VAT returns
• Training junior members of the team.

To successfully apply for this Bookkeeping Manager position, ideally you will meet the following:

• Previous experience working as a Bookkeeping Manager or Senior Bookkeeper in an Accountancy firm.
• Experience with Sage, Xero, and/or QuickBooks would be advantageous.
• Excellent time management skills
• Confident liaising with clients and the wider team.
• Experience with MTD would be advantageous but not essential.
