About the Role:

• Join a Secondary School in Hounslow with a strong sports program as a Boys' PE Teacher from September 2025. This is an opportunity to inspire and develop young male athletes across Key Stages 3-5, fostering a love of sports and promoting healthy lifestyles within a supportive sporting environment.


• Deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons across Key Stages 3-5, following national curriculum guidelines and incorporating a range of sports and physical activities.


• Plan and deliver lessons that foster athletic skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship, utilising a variety of teaching methods and resources, including fitness training, team sports, and individual activities.


• Assess student progress through practical assessments, fitness tests, and written work, providing detailed feedback to support their development.


• Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum, integrating current sports science and training techniques, and participate in departmental planning.


• Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities, school teams, and sporting competitions, promoting student engagement and athletic excellence.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong PE subject knowledge, including sports science, fitness training, and coaching.


• Demonstrated experience teaching PE to A-Level, with a focus on both practical skills and theoretical understanding.


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate young male athletes.


• Commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and athletic excellence.
