Join Our Team as a Branch Administrator!

Are you ready to take on an exciting role in the agricultural machinery industry? We are a family-run organisation, dedicated to excellence in agricultural machinery, with a vibrant network of branches across East Anglia and beyond. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Branch Administrator to support our dynamic team in Framlingham!

About the Role:

As a Branch Administrator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the branch while providing exceptional administrative support to our Branch and Sales Manager. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves interacting with customers and team members alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Personal Assistant to the Branch and Sales Manager, ensuring efficient operation.
  • Manage incoming calls and maintain the branch switchboard.
  • Be the first point of contact for customer inquiries, delivering a warm and professional experience.
  • Provide administrative support across various departments as needed.
  • Prepare sales quotations and issue invoices and delivery tickets with accuracy.
  • Carry out daily cashiering duties and liaise with our Head Office seamlessly.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data is kept up to date, including updating the sales database regularly.
  • Support the sales team during events and trade shows, bringing your organisational skills to the forefront.
  • Conduct monthly stock checks on domestic items to ensure everything is accounted for.
  • Foster timely and clear communication across the team, keeping everyone in the loop.
  • Consistently deliver a professional and customer-focused service that reflects our values.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
  • Confidence in dealing with individuals at all levels, creating rapport effortlessly.
  • Discretion and trustworthiness when handling confidential information.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • A high level of accuracy with both written communication and numerical data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated, approachable, and a true team player.
  • Ability to use initiative and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Well-presented and detail-oriented, reflecting our professional standard.

Additional Information:

Start Date: Immediate, subject to the successful candidate's notice period.

  • Location: Framlingham, Suffolk
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday (1-hour unpaid lunch).
  • Contract: Permanent, Full Time, Salaried.
  • Salary: Competitive, depending on experience, plus bonus.
