Branch Director

A rare opportunity has arisen for an accomplished leader to take the reins of a £10m income branch of a prestigious insurance broker based in Central Manchester.

We're seeking a strategic and commercially-minded Branch Director to lead a team of 85 people, overseeing all operational, financial, and people-related aspects of the business. This is a hybrid role, with two days per week in the Manchester office and the rest remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full P&L ownership for a £10m income branch
• Provide inspirational leadership across a team of 85, driving performance, engagement, and growth
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team to influence broader strategy and contribute to national objectives
• Ensure operational excellence, compliance, and delivery of outstanding client service
• Identify growth opportunities and lead business development efforts in line with strategic goals

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven leadership experience at a senior level within the insurance sector
• Strong financial acumen with demonstrable P&L ownership
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on leadership
• Experience leading large teams within a dynamic, high-performance environment
